Where is Ida&Volta based?

Ida&Volta is based in Belgium. We are two independent fashion designers working together on Ida&Volta the label. Johanna Adriaens is based in Gentbrugge, Belgium & Laure Persyn recently moved to Travancinha, Portugal.

What does Ida&Volta mean?

ORDERING

I do not know my size?

Please see our Size Guide for general information on sizing.

What does made to order mean?

We make sure to have ready made garments at your disposal, to order immediately. Sometimes however, this is not advisable. In order to create as little surplus in our stock as possible, we provide a selection of items as made to order only. This means you order your preferred size at primings shows on the webshop before we send the item to production. Delivery will take longer but we will update you on its progress.
For some items, the option of small alterations will be added into this process, to ensure a perfect fit & a happy customer. There is an extra fee involved.

I love an item that is out of stock, will it be available again?

Our Permanent Collection Items will be restocked whenever possible. Since we are a slow fashion label working with small independent seamstresses, this can take a while. Please subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on our progress.
Some items will not be restocked, either they were limited editions, the fabric is not available or we updated the design. These are all out of stock items not listed as permanent collection.

I love an item that is not available in my size, can it be made?

Yes, we can make this happen. Send us an email to connect@idavolta.eu & we will further advise you. Depending on the item, we will ask you to provide us with your measurements or you can visit our atelier in Gentbrugge, Belgium. We will ask for a small extra fee to make this happen.

I’m having trouble placing my order. What can I do?

We are so sorry to hear that you are having trouble placing your order, we are here to help. Please email connect@idavolta.eu and explain the issue you are experiencing. We will do our best to sort the problem out for you as soon as possible and get your order placed. 

I want to change something in my order. Is this possible?

If you need to change your order, please contact us immediately. Note that we generally process orders within 48 hours.

I haven’t received my order confirmation email?

Don’t worry! Send us an email and we will resend the confirmation email.

SHIPPING

Where do you ship to?

As of now, we only ship to addresses in Belgium. We will expand this service to Europe soon.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Bancontact, Maestro.

When will I receive my order?

This depends on availability of your item, which is clearly stated in the information of each garment. When in stock, the item should arrive within 5 days of ordering. Made to order can take up to 6 weeks, you will receive updates on this.

How much do you charge for shipping?

Shipping rates are set at 7 euro. This accounts for shipping with Bpost & packaging.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email which will include your tracking details. Use the tracking number provided to search your shipment.

My tracking says my order has been delivered but I haven’t received it. What do I do?

Please email us as at connect@idavolta.eu if your garment does not arrive within the expected delivery time frame. Our next step will be to lodge an enquiry with the relevant courier company. We will endeavour to keep you updated on the status of this enquiry.

It is important to make sure you fill in your correct address when ordering from us. We cannot accept responsibility for the wrong address being used with an order.

It is safer if you can have your items delivered when you are present, so please provide a secure daytime delivery address where possible.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

I want to return an item, how do I do that?

Please know that we are a small label that will do anything to help you with your order before it is send out. In the event however, that you do need to return something, send us an email at connect@idavolta.eu or call 0032496429615 within the first week of receiving your garment and provide your reasons and/or exchange requirements. In the event that an item has clearly been worn, laundered or damaged, we can not exchange or refund your item.

Can I drop my return off somewhere?

Yes, you can always drop your return off at the atelier in Gentbrugge. If this is not possible for you, feel free to contact us at connect@idavolta.eu for other options.

How do i send my return back safely?

Please let us know at connect@idavolta.eu within 7 days of receiving your order, providing your reasons and or exchange requirements. 

We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot take responsibility for lost packages. Until your return is received by Ida&Volta, it is your responsibility.

PRIVACY

What do you do with my personal information?

We firmly believe in protecting your privacy and the security of your personal information. We do not rent, sell or distribute our customer base or newsletter subscribers to anyone. We also do not store your credit card details on our server, all purchases are processed through Mollie, an independent secure payment gateway.
